This was our first Carnival cruise and our tenth cruise in total. We chose this cruise due to the departure port in relation to where we live as this was a family cruise for a group of 18.

Embarkation went smoothly and boarding began about 12:30 and the line moved right along once the doors were opened.

The food in the main dining room was less than we had expected and the service was the worst we had ever had.Luke warm meals served by staff with no personality or personal service. The meals came out sporadically to us as some had no food while others were done and so slowly we were last to leave the dining room After the second night we complained to Matradee. He got them to pick up the speed but the service was still poor. We had a head waiter and two assistant waiters! In all fairness our second part time assistant tried hard and did have a good personality but couldn't carry his co workers all the time.
