We took the TravelLynx bus (KIDS ARE FREE!) $7/per person roundtrip and it goes every 15min from port, Cocoa Beach the mall or Walmart. We only went to the beach and we had a great time! It drops you off across from the beach and you can walk around a bit to Ron Jon SurfShop and other stores if you need anything before getting back on the bus/ship. TravelLynx was the best $.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

GREAT, AWESOME TIME AND BEAUTIFUL! Nassau was so much fun. We shopped at the straw market- took the Jitney #10 bus (cheapest way to get around) $1.25 per adult each way and kids under 6 are $1, each way. It took us for about a 20 minute ride from Bay Street near the port to the Crystal Palace where you can pay about $40 to use their facility (beach and pool and includes drinks and lunch). The kids had an awesome time and it was so nice. We said we would even book a vacation at this hotel. 
NOW..what you can do is leave the ship towels on ship and walk right through the hotel like you are a guest and go right out to the beach and pool. No questions! It's a red flag IF you are not wearing a colored wristband and holding a carnival blue towel. All the regular hotel guests dont wear the bands so if you are looking to save some $, go for it! 

They have a fun water slide in the pool and some poolside games for adults that we participated in.

After a few hours we got back on the Jitney and went back into town. Stopped in a local liquor store and had a local beer that we enjoyed while walking through the town. Then we got the kids some rest and dropped them off at Camp Carnival. We then headed back out just my hubby and I and went to Senor Frogs. We thought maybe the drinks are kinda "fu fu" but we each had a YARD size drink and then shared a Zombie (also Yard size) and we were feeling pretty good. We got some fun balloon hats and danced until 9:30 then back on the ship to leave! :-(

$7 per person to get to the beach, each way. Became more expensive to go to this beach with the family and not nearly as nice as compared to Nassau. Next time we will stay on the ship. Freeport is an excuse for a cruise port. Very industrial there. Nothing happening!
We went to Taino Beach which is the Junkanoo Facility. It is okay to just hang out on if you want a beach but not many activities.

Decent closet space, just bring some extra wire hangers for your clothes. Great balcony, no obstructions. Not too much noise from Lido deck above just hearing some chairs move around now and then.

Transoderm is a patch you can get from the doctor if you get or think you may get seasick but one thing to note it creates SEVERE dry mouth, yes severe!I think Carnival just changed this last week and now just have one man bands or a DJ.
