***WARNING - LONG LONG LONG REVIEW FROM FIRST TIME CRUISER!***

This was our first cruise, our honeymoon. We are both 30 and like to dance, have a few cocktails, and participate in fun excursions and activities -- so keep that in mind while reading this review. It was a five day cruise from Fort Lauderdale, stopping in Key West, Cozumel, and Belize. We had an oceanview room with no balcony, probably the only thing I would have changed if there were any left when we booked!

We stayed at the Pier 66 Hyatt in Fort Lauderdale for one pre-cruise night. What a gorgeous hotel. It is a mini-resort, right on the intercoastal waterway. Our room looked out to one of the "canals" (not sure if that's the right term!), where we watched plenty of people on their very large boats. There is a gorgeous pool with archways and fountains. There is also a rotating lounge on the top floor overlooking the whole city which was very relaxing and fun. We ate lunch at the Pelican bar at the resort. We ate dinner near the beach at a little sidewalk cafe (Margarita Cafe), and we spent a little time at the pool. The best part - we opened our patio door and let the fresh air in while we napped the day after the wedding - BLISSFUL!
