Let me start off by saying i am in my late 20s traveling with my fiance. We have gone on 7 cruise in past 2 years. 6 of them being carnival. I am truly disappointed in this ship due to having high expectations

embarkation was fast as carnival always is. Only took about an hour of getting there and we were on ship.

As far as the ship and layout it was horrible. Carnival chose to only make this ship slightly bigger than the close before it but chose to add over 1300 people at 4300.there were long lines for everything. The two biggest complaints of this ship was the pool area and the lighting. to have 4300 people on board carnival chose to have 2 very small pools which i figured they would have stepped their game up for this new class of ships but i was wrong. They minimized the main pool area to make it very very small and impossible to have a chair where the action is to have a middle sitting area. This is a very poor design. the conquest class of ships the main deck had a ramp up where you can sit to be closer to action. The second complaint is the lighting. This ship is very very bright using florescent lights instead of the usual dim lights, especially in the main buffet areas and near elevators. It just doesn't give you the cruise feel due to all the bright lights every where. This was a big turn off of me
