OASIS OF THE SEAS 2-18-12 Western Caribbean

Small ship lover converted by the Oasis of the Seas!

We have completed 18 cruises prior to this one and love the feel of the smaller ships. We had sailed on the Grand Princess and felt it was too large and not well laid out. We like older ships because they have more outside deck space. We feel that the newer ones sacrifice deck space for balconies. We want to be able to hide away on a deck chair in a quiet, shaded location to watch the ocean go by.

Cabin Review

Cabin 7620 was in the exact middle of the ship. You might want to find a room closer to the stairs. It was very quiet. We never heard the people on either side or in the hallways. Nice location. The bathroom has lots of storage space under the sink. Efficient use of space for drawers, shelves and closet. Get a room with the bed near the window -- it gives you more space by the closet for dressing, etc. Bring an extension cord as there is only one outlet under the counter.
