Jewel Sparkles

Sail Date: February 2012
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Tampa
The whole ship was spotlessly clean. The public restrooms were very large and always spotlessly clean.

The cabin was small but well organized with plenty of space for all of our things. The closet was quite large. The shower door was a big improvement over the curtain on the Radience. I was concerned because there was crew quarters across the hall, but there was never a noise problem. This was the first time we were located on the front of the ship but it was not at all rough. It was convenient to an elevator and we never had to wait long for one. It was a dead-end hallway so there was very little foot traffic and it was very quiet.

The crew was always friendly and helpful. They all seemed very happy and interested in making the cruise the best possible.

The shows were not spectacular but they were very entertaining.

The food in the Windjammer was very good. The scamble eggs and french toast with strawberries were so good that I never wanted More to wait for a omelette to be custom made. All of the dinners in the dining room were excellent with plenty of choices every day. Our waiter actually brought us an extra lobster tail without our requesting it.

With 3 jacuzzis available, there was never any problem getting in one and once I was actually in it alone. I especially appreciated the warm shower located beside the jacuzzi for a quick rinse-off.

Our fellow passengers were friendly and fun. Less
