to start with i have to say the crew were excellent, and the entertainment staff were the best of any cruise line i have sailed with, but i found the rest of the the cruise holiday somewhat lacking there was no coffee or tea after ten pm unless you paid for it the late night snacks that were advertised in the brochure consisted of the waiters walking around the lounges with trays of finger food, there was only one tea and coffee station in the in the bistro area the the only other one being outside on a wind swept and often rainy heaving deck the queue for the inside one was sometimes twelve deep. unfotunatly two ports of call were cancelled because of bad weather at sea, which was no ones fault but the itinery was left the same as if it had been a shore day, there were no films or extra entertainment put in place. the ships theatre company were exellent as were the musicians and singers around the ship, the guest artists were suberb, but there could have been a bit more variety..eg a magician, the cabin was large and comfortable the library was very well stocked the games room was of a high standard with a huge assortment of games if i had to pick one member of the crew for special mention then it would be the cruise director richard who could not do enough,he was always there with a smile always with time to talk to the passengers a genuine and nice man. the food on the ship was good, but not as good as other ships, and there did seem to be a lack of space in the bistro at meal times. over all it was a very happy ship and with a few minor changes would be an exellent ship
