This was our second cruise with Celebrity the first was on the Constellation last year and it was the best holiday we had ever had, maybe that was one of the reasons some things were disappointing. The positives were many - excellent service,food and the ship was immaculate. Our cabin C3 was good,enough space and we were very well looked after only negatives here were the noisy neighbours but thats not Celebrities fault.

The disappointments were as follows - the entertainment was very strange the way it was organised, on 3 nights the Sky lounge was closed for a private party- sorry but we didn't think that was fair as we had also paid for this cruise.The foyer area was used for alot of the entertainment and there just wasn't enough space. Plus there didn't seem to be one area were entertainment continued for any length of time - you would just be getting comfortable and maybe plucking up the courage to dance and it would finish (approx 3/4 hour)Surely entertainment should continue through the evening in one place without having to be continually moving on? The only place that seemed to have constant music was the Quasar disco - a great place (we are in our 50's) but the music was so loud people entered (not just oldies) pulled a face at the noise level and left.

On sea days it was impossible to get a place round the pool unless you were there before 8am, although we did notice some people were reserving two loungers - one in the sun with a book and one in the shade then moving when it suited them - very selfish! In our opinion the lawn club although novel was abit of a waste (If we wanted grass we would have gone to Austria)and would have been better used with extra sunloungers and pool area. We saw very few people using this area and we did go there quite often to use the sunset bar which was lovely. Read more
