I don't think there is a vacation option out there that gives you the value cruising does. I have been on a few and I have enjoyed myself each time.
This was my second trip on the NCL Spirit both times with family. Overall I was very pleased with the food, service from our room steward, overall attitude of the crew, condition of the ship, and accessibility of the officers.
Arrival Mardi Gra who new? I am one of those people who didn't realize it was going on until it was to late. A normal 20 minute cab ride from the airport took over an hour. I won't do that again. Getting on the ship was a breeze.

Inside room so you get what you would expect. Bathroom was bigger than normal. We were on the 9th floor which was nice.
