Ship Facts: Freedom of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Freedom of the Seas Deck Plans
Freedom of the Sea is Awesome!
This was a SOLD OUT cruise! Embarkation was a breeze! We arrived 11:30 am , waited maybe 10 min in line and we were on board. Very easy and stress free.

The ship was amazing! Rooms were clean and very spacious. Loved the size of the bathrooms. We had a balcony room, the kids had an inside room across the hall from us. The views were spectacular in the morning and sunset.

I thought Haiti was going to be the least enjoyable stop but it turned out to be the best. We rode the Jet Ski's for an hour, walked the beaches and had lunch at the open buffet on the island.

Next stop was Jamaica. If you stay in the fenced in area you are ok. We ventured out of the gate and got about 10 ft and had to turn back. The locals just hound you to buy there goods. not very enjoyable.

Grand Cayman was next. We were told the Glass Bottom Boat tour was sold out by Royal . We walked up to the booth and got right on with no other people on board! It was like a private tour for us and we saved 50% less than if we booked it on the ship. Go figure.

Last stop Cozumel. We rented a 4 person Dune Buggy and toured the beaches. Great tour , lasted for about 4 hrs. Very dusty trip though. Had to wear bandannas over your nose and mouth to keep the dirt out , but had a great time. The kids loved this excursion the best. Adrian, our tour guide was great! He was extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan culture. We learned a lot.

Dining: Food was great! We had my time dining at 7:30pm everyday. The waiters were awesome. Agnelo ( Aggie) and Vinny (Vincenzo) were great. They brought us whatever we needed right away.

The only complaint we had was the chair issue at the pool. We saw numerous people coming out at 8am putting there towels down and not returning until 1pm!!!! ridiculous. Royal says they enforce they 30 min rule for abandoning chairs, but they don't.

DON'T BRING AN IRON!!!! Ours was confiscated by security and we couldn't get it back until we were back in port at Cape Canaveral. We didn't get our luggage until 7pm because of this. I guess it is our fault, not Royals.

Overall a great vacation and we already booked our next cruise for 2013 on the Oasis! Cant wait!
