Booked beach break at Quinta Sol off ship for $25 pp.Decent beach but smelly water and so-so snorkeling.Had plenty of good margarita's and great weather.Walked around and down the strip w/ too many locals trying to sell us stuff.Port area is quite nice w/ many shops etc.

Costa Maya

Joined another couple who had booked cave tubing on-line prior to arrival w/ Cave-tubing.com for $45 pp, less than 1/2 of ship price.We were very impressed w/ the tour and service.We accessed 3 caves and then were treated to an unadvertised authentic local tamale on return that was free and also sampled local beers for a fee.Had brief city tour on return.Highly recommend this company even though the bus was a little rundown.Port area is nice w/ many shops/bars/etc.We found much better prices outside the port area though for beer and souvenirs.This was a tender port and we anchored quite a ways out but tender service was great.

Belize City

Unable to rate port.Have been here before and this was our #1 port we were looking forward to.My wife and I got tender tickets early and went down to board and were let on w/ 7 others and taken to pier.While we were waiting w/ 3 men who were also waiting for other Spirit guest to arrive a large Celebrity ship docked at the pier obscuring our view of the Spirit.After waiting 30+ min the 3 men who were on a fishing excursion left to find a cab, tired of waiting for the rest of their party.The other 2 couples had left on arrival, 1 to a beach and the other to shop.So wife and I booked a van w/ 4 other Celebrity passengers and as we were getting in the operator ran up and said we needed to go back to the pier as the ship "is leaving".We indeed found this to be true and were told it was "too rough" to cont tendering in.We found the other 3 men in the taxi line and after being assured the ship was indeed pulling anchor and leaving for Cozumel we 5 agreed to return to the ship when told the other 2 couples would be left and flown to Cozumel when found.But we wound up circling around until 4pm until the others were found and returned on board.So we could had stayed on shore and enjoyed the day.Still very unhappy w/ how things went and blame Norwegian as we could see other ships docked.Nuf said.

Roatan

Rented a car this time for $64 total and spent the day driving around the island twice and saw alot.Too windy/rough to snorkel off the beach.Sampled several local bars and beaches and in general had a great time.

Cozumel

Large shower, too small cabin.Good location forward.

We booked a beach break off ship and had a good time.PORTS: Costa Maya port area is very nice w/ many shops etc.
