Sail Date: Feb 2012
Cabin: Junior Suite

Pre-cruise: From Alaska to San Juan - five timezones and 60 degrees difference in 14 hours - yikes! We were well received at the Conrad San Juan Condado Plaza, arranged with our cruise reservation. Beautiful hotel, great rooms, quiet (in the tower across the street from the casino - lol. Transfers to pier on cruise day - no difficulty.

Embarkation: Painless. From the bus through the line and on our way on board in less than 15 minutes through the Suites priority line. Sweet - pun intended.

The Ship: After reading some of the reviews before our cruise, I was a bit concerned about the conditions I might find. Not to worry - the ship is in good shape, but there are little things that show the scheduled dry dock time in November is timely; little wear nicks in closet doors for example. Our cabin steward, Gloria, was unobtrusively efficient - we hardly ever saw her, but the room showed her frequent presence.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite

Cabin JS

This is a Jr Suite. Walk-in closet. Bathroom has tub with shower - ample room. Couch in cabin was nice for seating guests (or laying out snorkel gear - lol). Great balcony - unobstructed view. Suite is near Centrum, but far enough away to avoid noise from the lounge.
