We spent a few days in New Orleans ahead of our cruise and experienced cool to cold weather, couldn't wait to get on the cruise and get to warmer weather.
My Mom and my wife and I had staterooms on Deck 5, with ours being an inside room and I had no complaints, our room steward, Mary, took very good care of us and our room was very easy to find. Mr Brother had a Balcony room and his major complaint was the cigarette smoke from the neighbor. Every time he opened his door or stepped outside for some fresh air there was the cigarette smoke.
We ate mainly in the Raffles buffet and enjoyed the variety of the items and enjoyed most everything with very few complaints. We did go to Teppenyaki one night and it was very nice and I would highly recommend it. We also went to Cagney's one night and had a very good meal, well worth the extra price involved.
We didn't take any excursions but did hire a van in Roatan to give us a island tour and had a great time. We hired Bodden tours right on the pier and our driver Francisco did an excellent job showing us his Island and telling us the history.
Embarkation and Disembarkation went very smoothly will very little hassle.
