Sailing on the Constellation was such a joy. The ship was spotless and the crew were absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed quite a bit of time at the spa and the girls and guys were so professional, but also warm and personable.
We had no problems with our room. Our room steward, Peter, was so accomodating and couldn't be more helpful. Room service was punctual and they went above and beyond to make us comfortable.
The major productions on the ship were great, but the comedians (there were several) left a lot to be desired. They weren't up to par as with the other productions. Sue, the activity director was wonderful and quite appealing.
The Tuscan Grill was superb, as was the Bistro. During the times, we ate at the buffet, it was a little crowded, with only one person cooking the asian food. However, it was worth the wait. Our waiter (KUMUSU) in celebrity select was wonderful.
Shore excursions from the ship were a little pricey for what you received. We did many tours on our own and made out better. It seems for the price, you don't get a long period of time off the ship. I guess that is for those who want to book more than one excursion in an 8 hour period.
Embarkation was painless and we were in our rooms by 1:00 and ready to go. Our luggage was in our rooms by 5:00 and we were able to get changed for dinner.
Great cruise! The weather was perfect in January!
