This was our first cruise and we had a great time. The ship was beautiful as was our Cloud 9 spa balcony room. Very pleased with our room accommodations and the spa facilities. We really enjoyed meeting other cruise veterans who were happy to how us the ropes and make recommendations about shore excursions and future cruises, I think we have the fever...
Montego Bay was not a pleasant experience from the high pressure at all of the choke points however all of the pricing for everything was very reasonable and Doctors Cave Beach is a great beach and an inexpensive cab ride from port.
Grand Cayman was well, just spectacular! I highly recommend the para sailing with Blue Water Beach para sailing. Very safe and a fun bunch of guys. They give you the option of dropping you on 7 mile beach or taking you back to port. We opted for the beach and they came back in a couple of hours and took us back to port. They also took about 60 pics of the wife and I for 25.00, who can beat that. Great beach, excursion, and nice people. Look forward to the next Cayman trip.
Cozumel also beautiful and although there is pressure to buy everything a kind "no" suffices and if you do find something you want the bartering is fun and the merchants are fair and reasonable. I highly recommend the Sea Trek helmet diving excursion, don't miss this one. There's a great little flea market just down the street from the dive site too.
Food on the ship was more than adequate as was the service. Request the southern lights dining room and you're in for a treat with the singing maitre de Ken, outstanding. He will be moving to the Breeze in June. Tandoor Indian and the Italian food restaurant are exceptional. The Prime Steakhouse was also very good but we really enjoyed the Italian food.
