Couple of contexts before the review -- this is "Pride of America" Hawaii inter-island 7-day cruise departed from Honolulu USA (not sure why Tripadvisor describe it as Japan cruise), and we had been to Carnival cruise 1 year ago.

Before we boarded the ship, we already knew this particular cruise was not a favour based on other cruise reviews. However, we did it anyway as we treated it more as a Floating-Hotel with All-Inclusive meals. In other words, we did it from a financial and time saving standpoint to visit Maui, Big Island and Kauai.

I have to say this cruise is at least 1-to-2 steps below Carnival Pride (sailed from Baltimore) in all levels. Others cruise experts also agree that the food and entertainment sucks. Read more
