My wife and I just returned from our fifth cruise, this time on Jewel of the Seas to the Western Caribbean.

The first thing I will say is that I will not cruise on a Radiance-class ship ever again. There were just too many design flaws that made things uncomfortable.

For one thing, the "brilliant" Windjammer buffet layout (as described by the professional cruise critic) stinks. Because there is no flow of traffic, people just meander from one station to the next. And you have to check out all the stations, because (for example) one breakfast station may have roasted potatoes with onions, and the other station could have tater tots and home fries. At the very least, they should keep the selection symmetrical, so you don't have to meander through all the stations.
