Dreadful. No redeeming points. Used for re-fueling. 20 minute slog uphill to get to a bleak and dreary town centre. Stay on board..most people that have visited before will be.

Vigo

Pretty and scenic, with unusual architecture and historically rich and varied.
Well worth a visit or two.
Good pavement cafe's and reasonably priced shopping.

Lisbon

Had to put this down, as Gran Canaria doesnt exist on the destination autolist.
Excellent churches, shopping area, cafe's, clean & tidy, warm and inviting people..a great destination.

Corfu

If you only book a few excursions (and it must be said that RCI's excursion rates are the lowest we've encountered to date) then Loro Park Wildlife Preserve is a real must-see, A full day here is worth every penny..amazing Orca show, incredible Dolphin show, with the animals well cared for, and a large chunk of the monies collected going into very worthy preservation societies.

Tenerife

Pretty and picturesque Madiera..plenty to see and do.
The must-do excursion is the breath-taking high altitude cable-car, and toboggan run, finishing with a tour around Blandys wine & port plant, and samples of their excellent drinks.

Madeira (Funchal)

Excellent inside balcony stateroom, spacious, good storage, small on-suite bathroom, comfortable bed, let down by paper crockery and dirty windows.

Look, if your idea of the perfect cruise is a semi-formal one, with civil guests, good food quality, acceptable entertainment, a 24-hour quality buffet, reasonably priced drinks, reasonable staff, then go P&O.To start with, the sheer size of the ship creates the wow factor, mostly centered around the main promenade, but this wears thin by day two when you realise that the only shop that offers good value is the booze & cigs shop..
