We were a family of 3 myself wife and 10yr daughter and have been on four carnival cruises. This was our first time on a disney cruise.
Here are the good points.
Port Canaveral is a great port to take a cruse form easy to get to and the terminal disney has is great. We park at park&cruse which is located the last exit before you get to the port. Was a great place to park and the price was half then parking at the port and have free shuttle to and from the port.

Like that you can put your luggage under the bed and free up closet space. balcony was ok two chairs and small table.
