We were a family of 3 myself wife and 10yr daughter and have been on four carnival cruises. This was our first time on a disney cruise.
Here are the good points.
Port Canaveral is a great port to take a cruse form easy to get to and the terminal disney has is great. We park at park&cruse which is located the last exit before you get to the port. Was a great place to park and the price was half then parking at the port and have free shuttle to and from the port.
The check in was very easy. We had a 12:30pm check in time got at the port at 11:30 went though security and took care of all the paperwork and was on the ship by noon. The ship is is amazing like how they welcome you on this ship.
Had a deluxe stateroom with a verandah loved the split bathrooms had plenty room for the three of us.
Food was ok. The three resturants were great and the casual cabannas we only had lunch there the first day and the selection was good.
The kids area is were disney gets big points. My daughter had a great time when she was there all the counclers were great.
The three show were excellent and what you would expect from disney.
Now for the not so good things.
Very few options for food late night only thing was pizza and it was not very good.
The adult area was only bars with no live music. If you like a dj and club music you will be happy. The only live music was in the lobby and was ok but no were to sit and enjoy it and have a drink.
This was the first cruise that we had a set time to eat on the morning of disembarkment and had to be out of our cabin by 8am. Said we had to eat at 6:30 am at the last resturant we ate at then leave the ship. On every other cruise the casual resturant was always open and could eat when we wanted and then wait for time to leave the ship.
Since the time to eat was so early we just got cleaned up and was off the ship by 7:30 and on the the road by 8am.
Overall we enjoyed the cruise but will probably not go on disney agine.
