My partner and I took this 5-nighter and it didn't disappoint. No, the ship isn't Solstice class (yet), but for the most part, Celebrity lived up to its reputation for quality and good food.

Embarkation in Miami was very smooth; champagne was given out upon arrival. The ship was a bit late in allowing us to get to our cabin, but the delay wasn't too long (1:30, not 1:00 as announced). Was disappointed with muster drill. It was held in the showroom with no life vests and no attendance taken. Considering the recent tragedy of the Costa Concordia, I would have liked a bit of rigor with this.

Our cabin (7080, Balcony) was tastefully decorated with lots of storage space. The bathroom had ample amenities, but nowhere near as many as Aqua Class. The shower had a shower curtain, not a shower door. A disappointment on Celebrity is the fact that there is no facility for passengers to press their own clothes. Celebrity should offer a public laundry room with irons and ironing boards. Cabin steward was good, not great.
