Sail Date: Feb 2005

This was our second time on the Spirit.

Embarkation at San Diego was a breeze. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on the Bay right across the street from the terminal. We came out of the elevator and wheeled our luggage across the street and were at the terminal. we were processed within 10 minutes and then waited 45 minutes and we were on the ship before noon. Quickest embarkation of any port we have sailed from.

Room - had an inside room which was spacious with more closet and drawer space than we needed. Beds are too hard - why can't they have softer mattresses? Love the fact they give robes for each cabin which means you don't have to pack them. No noise whatsoever from the hallways unlike the Conquest last year. Ship was sold out, but never felt crowded. Pool areas were busy during the days at sea.
