Even though we have taken 6 other cruises, this was our first cruise on Norwegian. My husband just retired and it was my 65th birthday so we decided to celebrate.

We live in Tampa and wanted a cruise from there rather than driving to Orlando or Ft. Lauderdale. This worked out quite well. We used an off-site parking facility which we had never done before. It was less expensive, but probably would not do that again. It took a while to get a shuttle to the ship and found out another person's car had been vandalized because it wasn't locked.

There was quite a line waiting to get onto the ship which was a little different from our prior cruises. However, it wasn't too bad and when we did get on the ship we had a pleasant surprise with the music playing and a welcoming party....very nice.

Cabin O1

The cabin is quite small, no place to put suitcases except on either side of bed. However, the bathrooms were the best. Quite large by ship standards with doors to separate the shower and toilet area.
