We thoroughly enjoyed our Carnival Magic cruise - Costa maya, Cozumel, Progresso.
Remember you are in a small room/cabin with limited drawer and hanging space....so pack 'lightly' as you won't wear half the clothes you put in your suitcase!!!
We chose a room with a balcony and it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
Food was excellent. We dined each night in the Dining Room, that was our choice - although there are plenty of eating places.
There is plenty of entertainment through-out the day and evenings. We went to the early shows and then relaxed in the bar or casino afterwards.
We chose Carnival Magic because it departed from Galveston and only an hours drive for us.
Easy to park, free shuttle buses - remember - drop your cases at the Port BEFORE driving to the parking lot. This leaves you 'hands free' to go through customs and get on board ship fully relaxed as it is LONG wait going through Customs. Have a bottle of water and a snack with you.
Remember you are on a 'floating city' there is a space just for you. If you want a busy & noisy spot (middle pool with very large T.V screen)or stretch out on Deck 5 much quieter.
