We arrived at the airport and before we picked up our luggage there was a Carnival attendant with a sign and information on where to go to get a ride to the ship.
Everyone at the terminal was great and very helpful getting us checked in and on board.
Once on board we went to our cabin. We booked a suite for the room. We had requested two twin beds and a pull out couch as we had our 3 children along with us. Much to our surprise we had a large queen bed, a couch that pulled out to a queen and a cot with a large thick mattress. The room was great, private balcony, tv, walk in closet, large bath, shower, plenty of drawer space.
Our room attendant was Mr. P. Our kids loved him. He was always friendly and called each of our children by name. Plus he always had surprises for them when he made the daily towel characters. Every night after supper we came to a clean room with all the beds set up and made neatly. And every morning after breakfast we found the room cleaned and the beds made and put away and moved out of the way.
We had the dining room "Sensation" it was very nice and the wait staff was very good. They would get you anything you asked for, though they were so busy that you found yourself having to ask for things that a normal wait staff automatically brings, bread, drink refills etc.
They were a fun group, dancing, laughing and always good with the kids. Food was good, not exceptional, but good. The chocolate melting cake is a MUST!!
All in all it was a good trip, kids loved it. They did not do the camp carnival, they had a blast playing in the pool and on the water slides. Food was good, people were great. Sad to come back to the snow.
