Sail Date: Dec 2011
Cabin: Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

This was our second cruise and our second cruise on the Norwegian Star. We booked a mini suite this time as the prices were good. What a disappointment. The room was filthy. There was vomit on the trash can, smudges on all the walls and doors and a light that was out.

My wife got sick almost immediately. We went to the ships doctor for aid and she quarantined her to her room for a day. This made us miss Roatan not to mention the other activities. I contacted the front desk to come and have someone clean the room. They did come clean the room and by the fourth day of the cruise the light was replaced.

Don't pay for a suite its not worth it. Its just additional cost for no additional amenities.

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Room 11636 Mini Suite - Great Balcony, slightly more room than a balcony room. Dirty filthy room, vomit on trash can. Bad cleaning service. Not worth the cost to upgrade from a balcony.
