The ship itself is stunning, there is a lack of open areas to sit out, and there feels like there is a lack of natural light in a lot of the public spaces. The cabin we had was really nice, spotless and fairly spacious. The shower was also fantastic, and the balcony was a good size. The bed was huge, and very comfortable with a memory foam top.
This ship however, is far too crowded. Its big yes, but it feels small due to the number of people that all seem to want to be in the same place as you at the same time as you. And most of them will trample all over you to get their first.
The food on board was average at best. The main dining room (romeo and juliet) is a huge spacious and beautifully decorated place, the service was very very good. unfortunately the food and menu wasn't really fine dining. I got the feeling that this ship has dumbed down the food quality to cater for its British, Chip Loving guests. A case of, why bother serving fine food, when all they want is chips. Which for the majority of the people on the ship was perfect. But not for me unfortunately, being in close proximity of so many over indulging Brits, made me ashamed to be British, and at times, watching everyone stuff chips and cakes into their mouths made me feel more sick than the choppy crossing of the bay of biscay. But that is no fault of the cruise line, or the ship.
