This was our fourth NCL cruise and first time on the lovely Jewel.
We drove to the NYC port terminal and parked right next to the ship...easy coming and going. We arrived at 11:00AM and boarded at 11:30AM. By 11:45AM we were eating lunch in the Tsar's Main Dining Room. We skipped the buffet and wanted to be waited on as soon as we got on board.
Staff- The best on the seas. They were so much fun. Thanks to Dazzling Devyn for all the fun at the trivia games. There is a big future for you with NCL. Thanks to Sassy Stephanie for teaching us how to dance to "Thriller". The Flash Mob at the White Hot Party was a blast. We enjoyed having dinner with Captain Idar(Thanks for dedicating your life to keeping us safe and happy.) Our Cruise Critic Group Planner, Julia Guntzberger, did a terrific job of planning our Meet and Greet and arranging for us to meet the Captain.

Mid-Ship Oceanview Porthole Window
Cabin 4580 was a porthole mid-ship. It was quite comfortable and quiet with easy location to everything, especially getting off at the ports. Well maintained and clean. We love the bathroom layout on NCL ships with large showers and separate toilet. Plenty of storage and the most comfortable beds. We slept very well.
