This was our second cruise we have taken with Carnival. The first was on the ship,'Ecstasy.' We stayed in the lower Riviera inside cabin on the Ecstasy, and this time on Paradise, we stayed in the Upper Forward Suite. Quite a difference between the two. The suite features a Jacuzzi bathtub, 70 sq ft. balcony, 300+ sq ft room, mini bar (not unreasonable prices: $1.50 for Cokes, orange juice etc.) & a bar with glasses, 2 queen-sized beds pushed together w/down comforter, a foldout couch/sitting area,walk-in closet, bathrobes etc.

One of the best things about getting the best suite was being part of the,"Skipper's Club," which basically lets you cut in front of everyone on embarkation. The line was really long & we were so happy not to have to wait in it(like last time). It seemed like sort of a secret, like a lot of things Carnival leaves you in the dark about, so read up & research about everything!

The food was great as usual. We don't eat meat, with the exception of some fish. We found lots of choices still. My favorite was the Teriyaki Salmon & the cheesecake!
