Embarkation: Got to the pier around 1:00 PM. It is the old pier that Sterling Casino Cruises used. We were on board within 10 minutes. Very smooth check in.

Cabins were available at 1:30 pm.

Cabin: We had an outside cabin, Carnival Claims it is 190 Sq. Ft. Next time I will take a tape measure. I am sure it is not 190 Sq. FT. That being said it was very comfortable. The ship was refurbished I think in '08. The bathroom had a new floor and sink. The shower in the bath is a good size and I was able to use the commode without having to stick my feet out of the door. I finally met my cabin steward on the 3 rd day of the cruise. He had been in and out of the cabin when we were not there, but that is not a complaint. Every thing was so well taken care of that we really did not need to ask him anything. Read more
