My husband and I really enjoyed the cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas even though I was under the weather for several days at the middle of the cruise. Nothing could be easier than leaving out of Baltimore. The ship was full but getting on was a breeze. The food was exceptional in the My Fair Lady Dining Room where we ate much of the time. The few times we ate upstairs in the Windjammer was good as well with lots of choices but it was generally over crowded during meal times. The entertainment on Enchantment was outstanding on this cruise. Marty Allen and his wife put on an exceptionally good show. The Enchantment is a beautiful ship and my only suggestion would to furnish it with a few more comfortable chairs on board. I found most of the chairs scattered around to be too low and not comfortable. My biggest complaint was that our room was much smaller than a comparable one we had on the Carnival Pride. Other than that it was a great time that I would recommend to anyone considering this cruise on Royal Caribbean.
Very small but workable for two people. Couch would open for three people but I feel it would be very difficult to manage with a third person and luggage in that small place. The bed was located in the middle of the wall under the window. This is the only feasible location but it made it difficult to get in and out of bed. It would have felt much safer in the middle of the night to have some kind of a rail on the wall by the bed. There was a molding on the wall when I stood up and I used that to find my way along the wall. We were able to store some luggage under the bed but it was too low for one of the suitcases to fit. The bathroom was adequate. The shower curtain was too short and they ended up replacing it - once they did that it stopped so much water leaking out from the shower. The housekeeping staff is outstanding.
