Ship Facts: Independence of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Independence of the Seas Deck Plans
Independance of seas from southhampton
Although a really large ship, very easy to find your way around very quickly. The evening shows were on the whole enjoyable and varied. The service was exceptional, all staff were very friendly, from maintenance, officers, cleaning staff, they all had a friendly greeting.

We stayed overnight in Southhampton at the Holiday Inn, which was actually a two minute walk to the ship! The hotel clean and friendly, food passable, but the close proximity made up for that.

We only did one ship tour, a transfer to Pisa and Florence which was well organised and efficient. All other ports were very easy to do on own.

Dining experience was as usual excellent, enjoyed the menu and we had super waiters. Lots of venues to eat 24 hours a day.

Our suite at first glance looked clean enough, but on opening cupboards and drawers lots of evidence of previous occupants! the bathroom was not particularly clean either, under the shabby sofa and bed, lots of dust and further evidence of previous cruisers. However the public bathrooms were very clean and plenty of hand sanitizers around the ship, the staff were excellent at promoting hand hygiene. Public areas were clean and well maintained apart from the very dirty sofas in the cafe promenade.

The loyalty programme for returning passengers was one of the best and generous we have experienced.

Definately will be cruising with RC again
