This cruise was our first taste of river cruising and we could not have been more delighted. The service we received before we left home was smooth and simple. We arrived in Basel and stayed overnight before making our way to where the ship was moored the next day.

We were delighted with the way that we were welcomed onboard and were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. The staff made us feel that we were really about to start a great adventure and we immediately felt that our holiday had begun.

We met many staff throughout our cruise and each and every one of them were exceptional. The service we received at all times was of the highest standard and they were so professional but at the same time so friendly. Our cruise director Bart was an amazing man who made everyone's cruise so memorable. Nothing was too much trouble, he was there to answer any question or assist in any way at any time.

Cabin Review

French Balcony Stateroom

Cabin 3

Our cabin was just beautiful with plenty of cupboard and hanging space. The wardrobes were internally lit making it easy to see anything inside.

The in cabin safe was spacious. In cabin water and bottled water was always replenished.

The bed was so comfortable with luxury linens and bedding. There was ample bedside cupboards with good lighting.

The bathroom was amazing with a great use of space in the vanity with a pull out drawer that had space for all our toiletries that were never cluttered. The use of L'Occitane bath products was an added luxury. The bathroom was marble and was sleek and luxurious as well as being spacious and practical. Comfortable bathrobes were very much appreciated.

Latest release movies and music on the in cabin television meant we could catch up on some great shows.

We had no problems with any sort of noise outside the cabin. Our cabin was very close to the reception area and very convenient.
