Embarkation was a breeze as our flight had been delayed and we arrived around 3pm. No lines. Walked thru security, nice not having to do the airport disrobing and straight to a waiting agent. No problems checking in, had our photo taken and on board in minutes.
Our room was a Porthole on the Empress deck, E9. Inside price with two large portholes, plenty of light. Nice renovations, plenty of room for two. Two outlets by headboard and desk/vanity and one outlet in the bathroom (shower only). Three closets, room safe, lcd tv, 2 chairs, king bed(suitcase storage under bed)robes, open, uncrowded feeling. No noise from ship but could hear the fun in the hallway occasionally.
Mardis Gras Dining Room service and food were great. Lobster on the second night. I had plenty to eat, but if you need or want more, just ask. Dinner every night was served hot and timely.
Porthole cabin E9, Empress Deck, two portholes. Plenty of room for two. Shower only. Two outlets by headboard and desk/vanity. One outlet in bathroom. Loved the location on Empress Deck and an 'ocean view' for an inside price.
