EMBARKATION: The Port of Galveston was hit with fog, so naturally it caused delays. Carnival has no say in the weather conditions folks. Get a grip on reality. When schedules get messed up...everything gets messed up. You do the best you can with Mother Nature. Life goes on and it always works out. Carnival had plenty of folks informing everyone that there were going to be delays, so if you chose to ignore the suggestions and had a miserable day...you did it to yourself. Our embarkation went smooth...just late is all.
FOOD: We found the food on the Magic to be excellent. The choices are plentiful. I don't understand anyone who says there is no food selection on this ship. They evidently did not look. Hamburger Grill, Hot Dogs, Pizza Bar, Deli Sandwich Shop (YUMMY), Sushi Bar, Buffet, Dining Room, Room Service, Regular sandwich shop on deck five, and the Italian Restaurant that was free for lunch. The Buffet on deck ten had plenty of Salad and fruit selections. They always had a choice of chicken, beef, pork, or fish on a daily basis. We ate at the Steak House once(extra charge), and it was THE BEST! If you go hungry on this ship, it is your own fault for being so hard to please.
CRUISE DIRECTOR: Really nice guy on stage and in person. Annoying as fingernails on a chalkboard when it came to the daily announcements. Sheer torture. Never ending. On and on and on and on and on.....At one point, people cheered when he finally stopped.
