Fresh off the ship with the experience sharp in my mind, I must proclaim any cruise is a great cruise....... Just with differences, some good and some not so good.

I would like to first say the only thing I have to compare this trip to would be the Celebrity Eclipse from 10 months ago. The itinerary was nearly the same juxtaposing Costa Maya for Belize, both ships floated and had good service but that is where the similarities end.

It would be intellectually dishonest to attempt to do a direct comparison. The old adage of apples and oranges would be fitting here, both are fruit and kind of round(ish). I knew the atmosphere Carnival promotes is one of fun and nonstop party converse of Celebrity's campaign of service and opulence before I ever set down my money. I knew what I was getting into "up front" but I was pleasantly surprised in several areas:
