Sail Date: Dec 2011

We spent 14 nights from 6th to 21 December on the Adonia and found the whole experience really excellent. Its crew could not do enough to make the trip enjoyable, they were always attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They certainly went the extra mile in everything that they did. The ship was very clean and the food in the main restaurant was very good and served beautifully.

We could find very little to criticise during the 14 nights we were on board. We also did many of the excursions and found these interesting, informative and well organised. They were also very reasonably priced. The cost of everything on the ship was also reasonable.

The entertainment was in parts good, bad and poor but overall it did not disappoint and once we got familiar with what was on offer we were selective in what we went to and found it fine. We did hear a lot of people complaining about this and that but these were niggles and did not warrant being raised. We also heard many saying they would complain to P and O to try and get something off their next cruise and we thought this led to many enlarging on small niggles to enable them to complain.

Cabin Review

Good cabin with sofa, nice balcony and adequate bathroom. Did not like the fact that we could not stop the air con but minor point
