We had previously sailed on almost identical sister ships Eclipse and Solstice so we knew what to expect.
The good first. We had cabins on level 10. Our stateroom attendants were superb. The cabin was always made up perfectly whilst we were out. The cabins were comfortable. The ship was kept very clean. The food in the main restaurant was fair which means it was very good by the standards of large cruise ships. The buffet in Oceanview Cafe was good. In particular the pizzas made continuously by the Mauritian guy were brilliant whilst Elizabetha at the ice cream bar also went out of her way to help find flavours. The waiters in the main restaurant were good and would accelerate service to enable us to make some 7pm shows after a 6pm dinner sitting.
The library on level 10 was the best stocked we have seen on a cruise ship. New bestselling books were put out regularly. This was a surprise that enhanced the cruise.
