To begin, I've been on a few cruises throughout the years with my parents because my mom was a travel agent. Granted, I was too young to really be picky about anything - I was just happy to be on vacation!

The last cruse I was on was 7 years ago and I have been dying to go on another one. I have been married for three years now and my husband is 30 and I am 26. We finally decided to take a cruise vacation and it was my husband's first one. I wasn't trying to have any "expectations" before I went, but I was really hoping it would be a good time and that my husband would enjoying cruising just as much as I do and that he would want to do it again. Also, the last cruise I was on was the Royal Caribbean Explorer of the Seas which I loved. I know their newer ships have only been nicer, but I could not say enough good things about that one. Therefore, I was hoping by going on an older ship by Carnival, I wouldn't be disappointed.

We had a very easy drive from Philly to Baltimore and got to the terminal around 11:30am. Check-in was really smooth and we only had to wait a little under an hour before we were able to board the ship. As we were pretty early in the game, we got on before most people and went right up to the buffet to eat, which I absolutely think was the best thing. By the time we were done with lunch, the place was so crowded a lot of lines. Our room was ready by the time we were done and we went down and our luggage was already there!

Cabin Review

Had an outside cabin, very spacious and loved being mid-ship on the first level because we did not feel most of the rocky waves there.
