We just returned from 12-31-11 VOS. The cruise was completely sold out. Really enjoyed this cruise, a few snags occurred but RCCL worked their hardest to solve any issues we had.

Departing from NOLA was an experience, we arrived Friday night and stayed at the JW Marriot (good rate on priceline). We walked around the French Quarter (very close to hotel) and had a very interesting memorable time there! Not to be missed!

The next day we left for the port around 12:00 ($14 Taxi less than 10 minute ride) and were onboard the ship a little after 1pm, very easy embarkation, our room was avail. by 2:00. Unfortunately our room had a strange odor that took some doing to get rid of but RCCL eventually came through for us. (Unfortunately ship was completely full so for about 2 days we had to live with the odor yuck!!!Luckily we had a balcony and could just leave the door open) Aside from that and a minor shower head issue all was wonderful. Yannina at the front desk was wonderful making it her personal mission to solve our problems!
