Have cruised all my life but never on a high end ship. First time on the Oceania Lines and Marina.

Pros: Beautiful ship , friendly staff, nice balcony, bedding, cleanliness of the ship, Embarkation, enrichment activities for pay. Restaurant options.

Cons: Poor bathroom design in the veranda suites as well as the size and depth of the closet for your clothes, shipboard activities, entertainment, enrichment activities for free.clanking in the hallway or pipes (never figured out) all times of the evening.Debarkation.

Cabin Review

We had a veranda located on the 8Th floor. What we liked about the room: First off the balcony. It had 2 chairs with cushions and an over head light.Very relaxing and clean. The bedding. Nice comfortable sheets and beds. TV. Flat screen with movies and popular US channels. Negatives. The bathroom. Tried to do to much with to little space. Virtually no vanity counter space, shower is much to small for tall or just a little heavy people. Toilet paper holder is located slightly behind you and the opening is where you pull the paper towards. Many times the toilet paper went flying into the air. Depth of closet and location. The closet is located next to one of the beds and is impossible for 2 people to be in that area and the depth of the closet is to small. If a gentleman has a jacket the sleeves will hang out unless you hold in and quickly release and slam the closet door. Size of beds. Had 2 twin beds which in reality turned out to be 2 single beds. Be careful to turn slowly as to not fall on the floor.
