This was one of the most relaxing cruises we've taken. Somehow the equinox is laid out in a way that you never feel crowded, you never find yourself in lines, you always find a seat in the theater, etc. Celebrity has a wonderful design in the Solstice class ships...one that works.

We booked select dining and we had reservations each night. As in most all restaurants, if you have a reservation, you are next to be seated and without a reservation, you have to wait for a table. No, they don't reserve tables, but with a reservation, you just don't have to wait in any line...recommended. We also took the special restaurant package and booked the formal nights in the special restaurants since we fundamentally don't like formal nights. Murano...excellent, Tuscan Grill...excellent, Silk Harvest...just didn't excite us, pretty average. But it's worth trying all three because with the discount, silk harvest is almost free. MDR food was pretty good..I enjoyed everything I ordered. The only negative I heard from our group was that the "available every night" steak should never be available.

I try to catch every corning glass museum event....those folks are incredibly talented and each piece they create is different. Don't miss these artists working with molten glass. The lecturers were interesting but not riviting. The backstage tour is always interesting to me....the galley tour was less riveting but if you haven't seen a ship galley, it's worth doing...and the chocolate covered strawberries they give you were terrific.
