We sailed the 12-26 cruise. The Magic is absolutely the most fantastic ship! We had a wonderful cabin on deck 1 category 6 which was a deluxe outside. I loved having the extra bath with the tub complete with heavy bathrobes. It was located conveniently to the elevators.

The food at the Northern Lights dining room was beyond wonderful and the service was impeccable. We chose the early seating since we also were traveling with our 3 grandchildren. Our waiter Ovi was exceptional. He knew us by name and did some entertaining things with the kids. I can not begin to decide whether the beef or the seafood dishes were better. We always had lunch up on the Lido deck. Yes, the lines were long but, they seemed to move fast and did not run out of food. The kids especially liked the hamburgers and hot dogs on the Lido Deck and the pizza on the Lido was pretty good. I especially loved the Tandoor section of the buffet, there was also a great deli. I had read some reviews of complaints on the food and I can only say possibly these people shouldn't go on a cruise. There is something for everyone on the Magic from the food to the entertainment. On our cruise was a very funny comedian name Steve White. A couple of times he had family friendly shows which with kids it was great to be able to include them. The main showplace had an illusion show and it was very good.

The casino was really nice. Seemed like most people were hitting and not much complaining was going on.
