Anyone having doubts about the Dream - don't!
Just had a fortnight in the Caribbean and it was fantastic.
We started out from Barbados and travelled to Curacao, Columbia, Panama,Jamaica,Antigua, St Lucia and Porta Rico. All ports intresting, travelling through Panama Canal was awesome!
Our Grand Suite with private balcony was great, spacious with walk in dressing room, jacuzzi bath and shower. Balcony had 2 chairs, 2 sun loungers and table. Lovely to stand outside early morning with provided dressing gown on looking at the port. Our cabin steward Ronald was so pleasant and helpful. We were given free water every day, complimentary fruit, canapes and wine.
The crew on board were all so friendly and could not do enough for you.
Food was good, we ate in the Orion, Lido buffet and Sirens all good. But if you want a real treat eat in the Grill, yes there is a £20 suppliment each but it well worth it. The food and service is out of this world!!! We ate in there twice and New Year's Eve was especially nice we even declined our special invitation to dine with an officer in the Orion so we could eat in the Grill!!
The trips on board are good but yes they are a bit expensive I would say on average they are double the normal price.
Our highlights were swimming with dolphins in Antigua and Crusoe Island, a deserted island with corals full of beautiful fish, free bar and lunch provided.
All in all a great holiday and wonderful experience. Days at sea are a bit crowded and a lack of sunbeds, there is a no saving of beds policy but it is not enforced! Thomson need to do something about this.
