My wife and I selected this cruise to celebrate our anniversary. It was a trip for just the two of us so we left our two children home with the grandparents. We had spent considerable time checking out reviews online to determine the best values and we were not disappointed with what we received.
We had a mini-suite which we enjoyed. The exception would be that the bed was uncomfortable. We liked the balcony but a word to the wise, try to book the highest deck possible. We were on the lowest deck with a balcony and it was not private at all. The decks above you were stairstepped up the side of ship giving each higher deck a view of the decks balconies below them.
We left Fort Lauderdale on 2/13/05 headed for Princess Cays Bahamas. We were a little intimidated by the crowds at embarkation and the first day on the ship but we soon settled in as we explored this very large luxurious ship.
