First let me say that the staff on Royal Caribbean is the biggest reason I continue to sail with them. Many things over the years have gotten poorer then better.

This cruise was a 7 day back to back for us. Leaving from San Juan. We always get to the port a day in advance to avoid weather issues in the Midwest. We stayed at the Hampton Inn by the airport. Nice hotel a little high priced since you hear the planes taking off up to late evening.

We had a balcony room and I have to say it is time that they get the ship refreshed. Our drawers in the desk fell apart, they had to fix our desk chair our refrigerator door and side was broken and falling apart. Our attendant Wanda was great for both weeks.

I love the rear of the ship if you do not mind walking more. if not by the rear elevators is great too. no need for a suite if you have Larger ocean view with balcony
