Our cabin was as we expected having sailed sister ship Eclipse. The only difference was that we were one deck higher and toward the stern vs. forward. We decided we prefer to be closer to the bow, as our Equinox cabin looked down on the lighted lifeboat deck. Our cabin steward was not as efficient as on the Eclipse in that our room wasn't made up while we were at breakfast, but that's a very minor point.
We had early seating in the MDR and can't rave enough about Halan and her assistant Volkan!! Every meal was delicious and Halan often brought out extras for us to enjoy. Once I tasted the escargot I had to order them nightly.
We enjoyed the entertainment, especially the female impressionist who gave us Cher, Streisand, Celine + many more.
8314. Unobstructed veranda but looks down on Deck 5 and the lifeboats which are lighted all night.
