We were instructed by the booking agents in the USA to call a tel no in Mumbai 24 hours prior to departure to get port instructions for embarcation the problem was this was a sunday and no answer. The hotel did contact the port agent on the monday and we were off to the port and the ship or so we thought.
arriving at the port gate we were denied entry as we did not have an entry card. more phone calls brought a person from the agent who after two hours provided us with a card and told us we had to go to gate no4. arriving at gate 4 we then had to unload our bags and take them into an xray room and the hump them back into the car. No sign of anyone from the ship al of this in temperatures 0f 40 oC.
Arriving at the ship I was to say the least somewhat annoyed at the lack of any ships personel and expressed my concerns to the security man who responded nothing to do with us it is the port security. This as you might imagine this set the scene for the cruise.
We had a delux large cabin. The decor was poor as were the furnishings. The cabin had touch up paintwork which was done using a different color paint.the carpet in the hallway was old and drab. The bathroom fixtures sink and bath had a paint re-finish.
