OASIS OF THE SEAS-DEC. 10, 2011

Sail Date: December 2011
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

This trip is simply phenomenal ! I could go on and tell you all the positive things about this trip but there is simply too many to number!

We have a 9 and 6 1/2 year old and they typically don't like kids clubs ( Adventure Ocean) but they fell in love with the massive space allotted for the young sailors. From their own movie theater and science labs etc. to the all included club pricing except after 10 at night. This allowed my wife and I to dine on our own from 7-10pm nightly and enjoy the comedy show, casino and aqua show offerings before heading back to grab the kids at 10:00.

The fitness centre is ginormous c/w spinning classes, aerobics and a running track.

From the flow riders, zip line, mini putt, basketball / soccer court, small skating rink, wind protected ping pong and the terrific kids pool area there is simply something for everyone.

From scapbooking, bingo, art auction, jewelry making and parades the daily schedule is action packed and More the following days schedule awaits you every evening as part of the nightly turn down service along with some new towel art (kangaroos, monkeys etc,).

The staff were simply amazing, always genuine and just a great vibe all around.

The windjammer at breakfast was as advertised- hectic but other than that and the promenade ( shopping area) after a show let out or parade, the boat was not that congested. There were 98 people short of a full ship, so approx. 6,198 plus 2100 staff.

Amazing how they move that many of us on and off the ship at ports and the lineups are minimal. The efficiency of this ship is truly amazing. I truly hope to make it back one day soon! Less
