We live in So. Florida so for us the port was a hop skip and a jump. We arrived at the port at 11 A.M. and were on the ship by 11:30 A.M.
The check in desk was extremely organized and moved quickly.
once on the ship, we went to the Windjammer for lunch. Many people, but all went smoothly. Food was good and service was excellent.
Our cabin on deck two was surprisingly quiet and the view was outstanding. We never had a bottom deck before. All our previous cruises were balconies or outside cabins on upper decks. This was a last minute booking where we had know other choice but to take this last cabin available. We had a four foot port hole which was so relaxing to be able to watch the waves. From now on we will only book on lower deck towards the aft. The cabin had so much storage and was always kept clean.
The entertainment was excellent. The Ice Show is not to be missed. Saturday Night Fever was fantastic.
We did not use the dining room, and never do. The windjammer was wonderful and our waiter was the best. We sat in the same location every night so we could use him. He Did not know what more to do for us. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner we found to be good. I did read other reviews where people complained, but some people you just can't please.
We visited Haiti and Jamaica. Both port were remodeled and are beautiful.
The activities were great. The Cruise, director Mike was outstanding and did a wonderful job entertaining the passengers.
Disembarkation went smooth. We took our own luggage off. Royal Caribbean was so well organized. We are looking forward to returning again soon.
