My wife and I are in our 60s and have been cruising for many years. We love Celebrity. However, the transatlantic cruise which sailed from Barcelona on 11/28/11 seemed like two distinct vacations.

We got to the port in Barcelona around noon. We were told that boarding would be delayed because the crew was giving the ship a special cleaning to combat norovirus. We were given a number and told to find a seat. We did and received snacks from the agents at the port. Our number was called and we boarded around 2:30. We went up to the Oceanview Cafe for lunch and it was mobbed. It took us awhile to find a table but we did, and had lunch. The food in the cafe was good, but nothing special.

Since we sailed on the Equinox last year we knew our way around the ship.
